Senior Chelsea Anguals won the women's 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:01.91 seconds, while freshman Delilah Griger won the women's 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:17.98, claiming her first collegiate win.

"We had some fantastic efforts on both sides, but suffered a few heart-breaking losses by tenths of a second," said SUNY New Paltz coach Matt Distler. "We need to fine tune our finishes moving forward".

Donlevy had a career day, finishing in first, second and third in her respected events. With a time of 2:18.89 seconds, Donlevy won the women's 200-yard Individual medley by a body length. Donlevy also got a personal record in the women's 200 freestyle, swimming a time of 2:03.92, breaking her previous personal best by nearly two seconds. Freshman Kiersten Giovanniello placed second across the board in three of the hardest events college swimming has to offer. Giovaniello finished the women's 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:21.35, a time which no Hawks female has swam in a New Paltz pool since 2016. Giovanniello was the lone women's swimmer in the women's 200 butterfly and finished with a time of 2:18.04 and again in the women's 500 freestyle with a time of 5:31.58.
