HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sheldon Adams (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) finished with a team-high 20 points on 7 of 8 shooting from the charity stripe to go along with three rebounds and three assists.
- Argjend Imeri (Syracuse/Nottingham) chipped in 12 points, while Jordan Christopher (Bronx/Mott Haven Campus) added 11 points and a team-high eight rebounds.
- Aaron Davis (Beacon/Beacon) tallied 10 points, five rebounds and five assists.
- Buffalo State and Brockport matched each other point-for-point in the opening minutes of the first half and used a pair of free throws by Adams to take an 18-13 lead at the midway point of the stanza.
- Oswego closed the half on an 18-4 run to claim a 42-28 halftime lead.
- The Lakers maintained a double-digit lead for the majority of the second frame to clinch the conference win.
- Buffalo State finished with a 15-8 advantage in fast break points.
- Oswego outrebounded the Bengals 38-32 in the contest, while forcing 14 Buffalo State turnovers.
