GENEVA, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's lacrosse team were defeated by No. 15 ranked William Smith this afternoon by a score of 18-3.
Molly Beck scored two of Oswego's three goals in the contest, giving her a team-leading six on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Beck scored her fourth goal of the season at 28:40 of the first half to knot the game at one.
- William Smith went on a 4-0 run to give them the 5-1 lead at the 10:50 mark of the first period.
- Haley Call scored the Lakers second goal of the game, her third goal of the season, at the 10:19 mark of the first period to cut the lead to three.
- The goal was assisted by Kass Myers for her third point of the season.
- At halftime, Oswego stayed close in draw controls as they sat at 7-6 in favor of William Smith.
- The Herons went on a 6-0 run to give them the 11-2 lead at the 27:13 mark of the second period.
- Beck score her second goal of the game at the 26:57 mark of the second period to answer right back off of the draw for Oswego.
- In the second period, Oswego was 8-for-10 in clear attempts.
- Elianna Sanchez posted her third highest save total in her career today with 13.
- Riley LaCava and Christie Allen both finished the contest leading the Lakers in groundballs (2).
- Sela Wiley had five shots and three shots on goal in the game.
