BUFFALO, N.Y.—Buffalo State dominated possession for most of the game, but a late power-play goal by SUNY Canton forced a 1-1 tie today in a non-conference contest at the Ice Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Vadim Vasjonkin (Tallinn, Estonia) opened the scoring midway through the second period with a one-time blast from the right point just seconds after a power-play opportunity expired. Charles Barber (Queensbury, NY/Lake George) and Nikita Kozyrev (Tallinn, Estonia) had the assists.
- The Bengals remained in control until the latter stages of the third period before SUNY Canton capitalized on a two-man advantage after a pair of Bengal penalties. The Kangaroos netted the equalizer on a deflection with 3:51 remaining in regulation.
- Buffalo State outshot Canton 6-0 in the extra session, but was still unable to break the tie.
- The Bengals finished with a 47-20 advantage in shots on goal for the game, but finished 0 for 7 on the power play. Canton was 1 for 6.
- Connor Minch (Manchester, NH/Manchester Central) made 19 saves.

- Michael Cerasuolo finished with 46 saves, and Jesse Farabee scored Canton's goal.
