Vincent Guimond (Sorel-Tracy, Quebec/Gloucester Rangers) made it 2-0 with an unassisted marker. The Bears outshot Morrisville 20-3 in the first period.
The Mustangs bounced back in a penalty-filled second period, taking the play to Potsdam. At the 12:57 mark, Kyle Wadden got Morrisville on the board. Over the last five minutes of the period, the Bears took four overlapping penalties resulting in multiple 5-on-3 power plays for Morrisville. Potsdam killed three of the four, but Eric Melso tied the game with 15 seconds left. The Mustangs fired 20 shots on Glander during the stanza.

Nate Zweig (Binghamton, N.Y./Syracuse Stars) close the scoring with 1:51 left with junior forward

Jared Young made 45 saves for the second night in a row for the Mustangs. Potsdam outshot Morrisville 51-30. Potsdam was 1-for-4 on the power play and the Mustangs finished 1-for-7.
The Bears are now off until a January 4 meeting at Stonehill College in Easton, Mass. at 4:10 p.m.
