POTSDAM, N.Y. – Seniors
Sydni Eure and
Morgan Wolanin each posted double-doubles in a 67-56 road defeat to the Potsdam Bears on Friday evening. It was Eure's third-straight double-double and seventh of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lakers got off to a 6-2 start behind a pair of layups from Eure and one from junior Raiven Encarnacion.
- Potsdam answered with a 10-0 run during the next five minutes, but a layup from Wolanin and a three-point play by junior Taylor Torchia cut the Bears' lead to 14-11 after the first quarter.
- An 11-3 run in the middle of the second quarter had the hosts in control at 27-16 with 2:26 left in the half, but layups from senior Quincey Zimmerman, Eure and Wolanin made it 29-22 at the break.
- Oswego closed the gap to six on a Wolanin free throw, but Potsdam finished the third quarter on a 15-8 run to open up the lead to 46-33 heading into the final frame.
- The Bears pushed out to 56-36 with 6:36 to go before seeing the Lakers go on a 17-8 run fueled by Eure and Encarnacion to make it a game with just under two minutes left.
- It was a trading of baskets from there as Potsdam held on for the 67-56 victory.
- Eure finished with 17 points and 15 rebounds and Wolanin joined her with a 12 point-12 rebound double-double.
- Zimmerman reached double figures with 10 points and Encarnacion had nine.
