Liv LeBaron (Corning/Corning East) netted a game-high 26 points to go with nine rebounds, five assists, five steals and five blocks to lead Buffalo State to a 65-48 victory over Thiel in today's Betty Abgott Invitational consolation game.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Katie Villarini (Hamburg/Hamburg) added 10 points for the Bengals. The next highest scorer was Aliyah Braxton (Bay Shore/Bay Shore) with six points.
- Thiel led twice in the very early going, and then Buffalo State took control and claimed a 36-27 lead by halftime.
- The Bengals outscored the Tomcats 12-4 in the third quarter to push the lead to 16, and cruised to the win.
- Buffalo State produced 21 points off 23 Thiel turnovers, and had a 21-3 advantage in points off the bench. The Bengals also dominated inside with a 38-24 edge in points in the paint.

- Destiny Johnson led Thiel with 21 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks.

TITLE GAME
