No. 12 Oswego pulls away from Men’s Hockey, 5-0

BUFFALO, N.Y.—Oswego scored three times in the third period to pull away from host Buffalo State for a 5-0 victory tonight in a SUNYAC contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Oswego opened the scoring early in the second period with a power-play goal that bounced off a Bengals' defender and over the top of the goalie. 
  • The Lakers extended the lead just over three minutes later with a shot from the point that found its way to the back of the net.
  • Oswego pulled with three goals in the third period, including two in the final six minutes.
  • The Lakers finished with a 36-21 advantage in shots on goal.
  • Emil Norrman (Kungsbacka, Sweden/Jensen) made 31 saves in the loss.
 
FOR THE FOES
  • Travis Broughman scored twice, and Josh Zizek, Carson Vance and Joseph Molinaro also scored.
  • David Richer stopped all 21 shots he faced.
