Oneonta (2-4, 0-1 SUNYAC) trailed 54-41 early in the fourth quarter. Seven unanswered for the Red Dragons cut its deficit to just six points with just over eight minutes to go. Freshman
Olivia Dobrovosky (Skaneateles/Skaneateles) (8 points) capped the run with a layup. A three-pointer by freshman
Lauren Obermayer (East Greenbush/Columbia) pulled Oneonta to within five points at the 7:17 mark, but that would be as close as the Red Dragons got for the remainder of the contest.

Plattsburgh (3-3, 1-0 SUNYAC) outscored Oneonta 16-11 in the third quarter to build on its eight-point halftime advantage. Senior Taylor Durnin led the way with seven of her 12 points in the game.

Margaret Nardelli (Wappingers Falls/Roy C. Ketcham) tied the score at 17 apiece with her second trey of the quarter with 20 seconds left. The Cardinals held the lead for more than half the opening stanza.

The two teams scored just five points each through the first five minutes of the second quarter. After a layup by senior
Shelby Benjamin (Norwich/Norwich) knotted the score at 25-25, Plattsburgh closed the quarter with a 13-5 spurt to head into the break ahead 38-30.

Oneonta outrebounded Plattsburgh 44-35 including a game high 13 boards by senior
Leanne Corso (Commack/Commack). Plattsburgh collected 13 steals and scored 12 points off turnovers. The Red Dragons had 16 second chance points.

Margaret Nardelli (Wappingers Falls/Roy C. Ketcham) came off the bench to contribute nine points for Oneonta making three from behind the arc. Quinn led the Cardinals with 14 points including three of her own from deep.
