Results 

ITHACA, N.Y. – The College at Brockport men's and women's swimming and diving teams opened up their 2019-2020 campaign at Ithaca College on Saturday. The Golden Eagles went head to head with the Bombers and also had an exhibition against Fredonia and Buffalo State. The only meet that was scored for the Golden Eagles was against Ithaca College, where the men's team fell short 237-57 and the women's team 251-43.
 
Men's Team:
 
Swim-

• The men's 200-yard medley relay team of Matthew Dambra, Oliver Dragojevic, Logan Gregory and Brandon Amthor recorded the first win of the day for the Golden Eagles, notching first overall with a time of 1:41.68.
• Dambra recorded his second highest finish of the day in the 200-yard freestyle, grabbing second overall with a time of 1:50.31.
• The men's team saw success in the 50-yard backstroke as well, with Gregory recording a second-place finish with a time of 25.84.
• Thomas Knack picked up his first top time of the day in the 50-yard breaststroke with a second-place finish (29.03).
• Amthor grabbed second overall in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.42, his first individual swim of the day. He then followed that up with a third-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle, where he recorded a time of 48.66. The juniors best finish of the day came in the 100-yard IM, where he not only posted first overall, but his time of 55.39 also broke the Brockport school record. Knack's sixth place time of 58.97 also helped him secure a record-breaking time as well.
• Gregory was the lone top finisher for the Golden Eagles in the 100-yard backstroke, posting second overall with a time of 56.38. He would add another top finish in the 50-yard butterfly as well, grabbing third place with a time of 24.79.
• Dragojevic followed Gregory in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing third with a time of 1:04.19.

Dive-

• Mark Eaton opened successfully for the diving team in the 1 meter and 3 meter, finishing third overall in both with a score of 251.15 and 231.15, respectively.

 
Women's Team:
 
Swim-

• The women's 200-yard medley relay team of Sarah Mullane, Haley Brucato, Rebekah Wilkinson and Sawyer Parker opened up the day with a strong performance, posting a third place finish overall with a time of 2:00.17.
• Allison Morrow continued a strong day for the Green and Gold, working her way to a second-place finish in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 34.33.
• Nicole Orcutt followed with another top three finish in the 100-yard butterfly, posting a time of 1:03.59 for third-place. The freshman added another third-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:37.25.
• The 50-yard freestyle saw success for Kaitlin Dunning, who posted a third-place time of 26.05.
• Alexa Callaghan had a strong outing in the 50-yard butterfly, recording a third-place finish of 29.05.
• The strongest performance of the day for the women's team came from the 200 yard freestyle relay, where Brianna Owen, Wilkinson, Parker and Dee Logory grabbed first place with a time of 1:48.49.

Dive-

• Loren Sayers continued her success from the 2018-2019 season, placing second in the 1 meter with a 235.15 and third overall in the 3 meter with a 233.00 finish.
