BUFFALO, N.Y.—
Anthony Tulipane (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore East) scored the overtime game-winner as Buffalo State prevailed 2-1 over Nichols College in today's consolation game of the Bengals Classic. No. 7 Adrian defeated No. 14 Manhattanville in a shootout in the title game after officially ending in a 3-3 tie.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tulipane intercepted a puck that was misplayed by the Nichols goalie and made a quick deke to his backhand and shoveled into the top of the net with just over a minute remaining in overtime to give Buffalo State the win.
- Zach Remers (Clarence, NY/Canisius) scored Buffalo State's other goal on the power play midway through the first period with assists from Ben Butcher (Bellingham, WA/Langley) and Colin O'Connor (Kankakee, IL/Providence Catholic).
- Nichols scored its only goal with just over seven minutes remaining in regulation on a rebound to force overtime.
- Freshman Emil Norrman (Kungsbacka, Sweden/Jensen) was strong in his first collegiate shot with 36 saves as the Bengals were outshot 37-35.
FOR THE FOES
- J.B. Baker scored the lone goal for the Bison, and Matt Efros finished with 33 saves in goal.
