Sam Maddox (St. Louis, MO/Lindburgh) scored twice, while
Nikita Kozyrev (Tallin Estonia) and
Zach Remers (Clarence/Clarence) each chipped in four assists as Buffalo State finished 3 for 3 on power-play chances en route to a 7-1 win over host Morrisville in the team's first SUNYAC action since Dec. 7.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State opened the scoring just over two minutes into the contest as Vadim Vasjonkin (Tallin, Estonia) tallied his eighth goal of the season off assists by Remers and Kozyrev.
- The Bengals doubled their lead with 9:53 left to play in the first period as Andrew Logar (Niagara Falls/Niagara-Wheatfield) scored an unassisted goal for his first of the season.
- After Morrisville scored their lone goal at the three minute mark of the second period, Buffalo State scored its first power-play goal, just 25 seconds after the penalty, with 9:47 left in the frame as Reid Bibb (Gaitherburg/Gaitherburg) scored his fourth of the season on assists by Kozyrev and Remers.
- The Bengals pushed their lead to 4-1 as Maddox scored on a power-play chance with just under three minutes left in the second stanza off assists by A.J. Marinelli (Amherst/Kenmore East) and Vasjonkin.
- Buffalo State outshot the Mustangs 13-4 in the final period and were rewarded with three goals in the span of three minutes to put the game out of reach.
- Jon Colley (Stouffville/ON/Stouffville District) opened the scoring with his second on the season with 7:25 left in the contest with a power-play goal off assists by Kozyrev and Remers.
- Cody Symonds (Woodbridge, ON/Emily Carr) scored his first goal of the season just over a minute later off assists by Kozyrev and Remers.
- Maddox closed out the games scoring with his sixth of the season off assists by Symonds and Matt Minerva (Commack/Commack).
- Emil Norrman (Kungsbacka, Sweden/Jensen) tallied 24 saves in net for the Bengals.
- Buffalo State finished with 35-25 advantage in shots on goal, while holding Morrisville to 0 for 4 on power-play chances.

- Aidan Conolly scored for the Mustangs with Christian Vella picking up the assist.
- Jared Young finished with 28 saves in net for Morrisville.
