BUFFALO, N.Y.—
Jason Lee (Middle Village/Xavier) notched his first collegiate goal, but it wasn't enough as visiting Cortland tallied a pair of first-half goals en route to a 3-1 victory in SUNYAC action this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State opened the scoring in the 16th minute as Lee collected a loose ball off the corner kick by Theo Pencic (Oslo, Norway) and buried a shot inside the left post to give the Bengals the early lead.
- The Red Dragons responded with two goals in a span of 14 minutes to take a 2-1 lead at the halftime break.
- The Bengals outscored Cortland 8-7 in the second half, including multiple shot on goal, but could not break through to even the score.
- The Red Dragons scored an insurance marker in the 60th minute to complete the game's scoring.
- Andreas Queen (Stone Ridge/Rondout Valley) finished with four saves in the net for the Bengals.
- Buffalo State finished with a 12-11 shots advantage, but were outshot 7-5 in shots-on-goal.
