BUFFALO, N.Y.— Geneseo outscored the Bengals 26-8 in the third quarter to erase a halftime deficit en route to a 68-53 win over host Buffalo State tonight, snapping the Bengals four-game winning streak.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Liv LeBaron (Corning/Corning East) led the Bengals with 13 points to go along with six rebounds.
- Jenna Lee (Wallkill/Wallkill) chipped in 11 points and four rebounds, while Katie Villarini (Hamburg/Hamburg) added 10 points and a team-high six assists.
- Tori Hackett (Canandaigua/Canandaigua) tallied eight points and a team-high 12 rebounds.
- Buffalo State sprinted out of the gates for the second-consecutive game, tallying 11-unanswered points in the first three minutes of action.
- Geneseo responded to trim the deficit to 14-10 at the first intermission.
- The Bengals outscored the visiting Knights 18-13 in the second frame and used a late 3-pointer by Kaelee Lynch (Atwater, CA/Buhach Colony) to take a 32-23 halftime lead.
- The Knights used a 26-8 run throughout the third quarter to overcome the halftime deficit and give themselves a 49-40 lead at the final intermission.
