ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Fredonia men's basketball team improved to 2-0 with a 64-56 win over Vassar on Friday. Three Devils scored in double digits to help secure the victory.
Chase Johnson had 18,
Dydy Bryan added 17 and five assists, and
Tyler Roberts had 15.
De'Quan Smith added seven points and five steals.
Bryan and Johnson led the team in rebounding with nine and eight, respectively.Â
Fredonia State scored first and led the entire game. The largest lead of the first half was 13 points, and the biggest margin of the second half was by 14 points.
The Devils stay in Rochester and take on Nazareth in the championship game on Saturday. Naz defeated Hunter 97-69.
