FREDONIA, N.Y. – Charlie Manley recorded a hat trick to lead the Fredonia men's hockey team to a 3-2 victory in SUNYAC action Friday night. The Red Dragons dropped to 3-7 overall and 2-6 in the conference with the loss. The Blue Devils improved to 2-5-3 and 1-5-1.

Sean Perichak (Oakville, ON/Markham Royals) scored Cortland's goals. Junior
Logan Blaser (Aurora, ON/Brockville Braves) and sophomore
Oliver Lester (Calgary, AB/Prince George Spruce Kings) each recorded an assist. Senior goalie
Nick Modica (Suffern/New Jersey Hitmen) made 30 saves.
Jacob Haynes collected two assists, and Malcolm Arseneau, Ethan Kirbis and Victor Tracy each picked one assist for Fredonia. Goalie Anton Rosen stopped 34 shots.
Elgstam gave Cortland a 1-0 lead just 38 seconds into the game with an unassisted goal. Manley scored twice in the second period to give the Blue Devils a 2-0 lead. Manley made it a 3-1 score with a power-play goal at 7:57 of the third period. Cortland pulled Modica for an extra skater late in the third period, which led to Perichak's goal at 18:56. After the score, the Red Dragons again pulled Modica with one minute remaining but could not net the equalizer.
