OSWEGO, N.Y. -- The Oswego State women's basketball team moved to .500 on the season after defeating SUNY Canton 64-25. The Kangaroos' 25 points marks the fewest the Lakers have allowed since November 20, 2012 when they held Hamilton to 31.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lakers opened the game on an 11-0 run, behind four points from Ramatoulaye Sy. Sy would finish with a game-high 16 points and seven rebounds.
- Taylor Torchia did all of her damage in the first half for Oswego, scoring 13 points including nine from behind the arc.
- The Lakers held the Kangaroos to just 3.23% shooting and six points in the first half.
- Oswego made the most out of Canton's 24 mistakes throughout the game, scoring 27 points off turnovers.
- 10 different Lakers tallied at least two points in the contest. Lila McHale-Carter's five points marked the first of her collegiate career.
- Junior Raiven Encarnacion added six points and seven rebounds.
- Oswego held an advantage on the boards, out-rebounding Canton, 59-45.
