OSWEGO, N.Y. – Senior
Montana Garrett scored three goals, including the 100
th goal of her Laker career, but the Clarkson Knights used a strong defensive effort to hold off Oswego by a score of 9-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego grabbed the quick lead when freshman Sela Wiley threw a long pass over the defense to senior Molly Beck.
- Beck turned and bounced a goal past the Clarkson keeper to push Oswego up 1-0.
- The Knights tied it up less than two minutes later then added goals at 17:08, 12:59 and 1:25 to head into the break up 4-1.
- Clarkson held an 8-5 edge in shots-on-goal at the end of the first half while both goalies had four saves.
- Just like the first half, Oswego scored the opening goal as Garrett found the back of the net on an assist from Kass Myers.
- The Knights' Sydney Roderick scored an unassisted goal five minutes later. She had three assists on the four goals of the first half for Clarkson.
- Beck scored an unassisted goal with 15:25 on the clock to close the lead to 5-3.
- In the next four minutes of action, Clarkson went on a 3-0 run to extend the lead out to five.
- During the final six minutes, Garrett scored a pair of goals on assists from Kamryn Sherman. Her first goal was the 100th of her Laker career.
- Clarkson would score one final unassisted goal with 2:45 remaining to conclude scoring.
- Senior Elianna Sanchez had seven saves in the contest.

The Lakers head south to play at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa. at 12 p.m. on Saturday.
