The Red Dragons jumped on the board in the top of the second on a
Sean McGlynn (New Hartford/New Hartford) RBI ground out, scoring
Jonathan Lezette (Saugerties/Saugerties) from third. Oneonta broke the game open with four runs in the top of the third. With the bases loaded,

Patrick McGee (Mahopac/Mahopac) to make it 7-0. A miscue by the Vassar defense allowed the Red Dragons increase their lead to 8-0.
After Vassar plated a run in the bottom fifth, the Red Dragons ended the Brewers comeback hopes by putting two more on the board in the top of the sixth.
Against Wells, the Red Dragons could only muster five hits in the 1-0 setback to the Express. Oneonta had their chances in the game but left eight men on base for the game. The Red Dragons pitching staff only surrendered two hits in the game while striking out ten.
