Matthew Distler.
The Hawks three top backstrokers on the men's side all came within .3 seconds of each other. In the 100-yard backstroke junior
Nolan West placed fourth when he swam a 58.46. Freshman Zac Brown came in fifth when he went a time of 58.70 and sophomore
Luke Gamboli finished in sixth place with a time of 58.72. Sophomore
Ethan Bonney had an incredible 200-yard butterfly performance, as he broke his own personal record and completed the event in a time of 2:06.26.
"It was a great opportunity for us to swim in the same pool that SUNYAC's will be held in two weeks from now," said SUNY New Paltz freshman
Owen Rowlands.
The Hawks women also had several standout performances throughout the meet. Senior
Chelsea Angulas had a standout time of 2:04.21 in the women's 200-yard freestyle. She also placed second in the 100-yard freestyle when she swam a time of 55.92. Senior Sam Woll placed fourth in the women's 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:04.15. Freshman
