Utica, NY. The SUNY Oneonta baseball team dropped a non-conference matchup against the Utica Pioneers, 7-4. The Red Dragons record dropped to 9-18 and the Pioneers improved to 12-10. On the day, sophomore Jonathan Lezette (Saugerties/Saugerties) went 3-4 including a walk and a home run in the top of the 9^th inning.

Senior James McCarty (Stony Brook/Chaminade) was charged with the loss after pitching three innings while allowing two runs (one earned) and giving up five hits.

The other two Red Dragons with multiple hits were senior Vincent Prisco (Northport/Saint Dominic) who went 4-4 with a walk and two runs scored, and Mike Graves (Bethlehem/Bethlehem Central) who went 3-4 with a walk and a run scored.

The Red Dragons are back in action tomorrow on the road against Stevens Institute.
