ONEONTA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State men's basketball team struggled from the field dropping a 79-40 game at Oneonta on Friday.
Dydy Bryan led the Devils with eight points.
De'Quan Smith and
Moussa Samassa had seven points each. The team shot just 29 percent from the floor.
Adan Braniecki had six rebounds.
Oneonta, tied for first in the SUNYAC at 7-1, hit on 45 percent of its shots. They had four double-digit scorers with Dylan Trombley leading the way with 15 points.
The Dragons would amass a 23-point lead by the half, 36-13.
They controlled the boards by snagging 53 rebounds compared to Fredonia State's 29. Oneonta scored first and never surrendered the lead while improving its overall record to 11-4.
Fredonia State falls to 6-8 on the year with a 2-5 SUNYAC mark. The Devils travel to New Paltz on Saturday.
