Sydni Eure and sophomore
Ramatoulaye Sy, the women's basketball team posted their first win of the 2019-20 season on Saturday, a 77-62 victory over Morrisville State at the Max Ziel Women's Basketball Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Eure did a majority of her damage in the first half with 17 points and 11 rebounds to help Oswego to a 35-27 lead.
- Sy carried the torch with 22 points and 17 rebounds in the second half as the Lakers pulled away in the win.
- Both players reached double-doubles on the afternoon with Eure getting a total of 19 rebounds while Sy finished with 21.
- The Lakers held a huge advantage on the boards with a 67-32 edge.
- Junior Raiven Encarnacion added nine points while senior Quincey Zimmerman had three of the team's eight blocks.
- Oswego shot 40.5% from the field while holding the Mustangs to 31.9%.
- At the conclusion of the tournament, Eure was named to the All-Tournament Team.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers remain at home for a 7 p.m. contest on Wednesday against SUNY Canton.
