ALFRED, N.Y. --
Kyle Copper turned in the lone first-place finish for the Fredonia State swim team in a tri-match at Alfred University on Saturday. The University of Rochester also competed.
Copper's 2:00.05 in the 200-yard butterfly led all competitors.
Second-place finishes included
Robert Atwood in the 50-yard free in 22.42; and the 200-yard freestyle relay team of
Cameron Criss,
Pat Woods,
Drew Page, and Atwood who finished in 1:29.47.
The Devils lost both team scores, falling 226.5-64.5 to Rochester, and 197-93 to Alfred.
