SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Cortland teammates Dylan Mackenzie and Tommy Lynch are the SUNYAC Baseball Athlete of the Week and Pitcher of the Week respectively.

Mackenzie batted .563 (9-for-16) with two homers, a walk, nine RBI and five runs scored as Cortland finished 4-0 on the week. He went 3-for-5 with a homer in a win at Cobleskill on Wednesday, and he was 3-for-5 with a homer and six RBI in a victory over Fredonia on Friday.

Lynch earned a win in relief versus Fredonia on Friday with 4.2 innings of three-hit ball. He allowed just one unearned run, struck out five and didn't walk anyone. Lynch entered with one out and the bases loaded in the top of the fifth with Cortland clinging to a 7-6 lead. He struck out two batters to preserve the lead then pitched the final four innings and was awarded the win as the Red Dragons' most effective reliever.
