Plattsburgh State sophomore forward Jonathan Patron averaged a double-double per game (23.0 ppg, 11.7 rpg) in a 2-1 week for the Cardinals. He shot 50.9 percent (17-of-36) from the floor on the week and also averaged 2.3 assists per game and one steal per game. Patron scored 27 points and shot 57.1 percent (12-of-21) from the field in a 91-73 loss to St. Lawrence University on Tuesday. On Friday, he scored 15 points and added 13 rebounds and three steals in Plattsburgh State's 87-80 SUNYAC-opening win over Buffalo State. Finally, on Saturday, he drained 27 points off 11-of-20 shooting from the floor in the Cardinals' 75-57 victory over Fredonia. On the year, he ranks second in the SUNYAC in both scoring (22.7 ppg) and rebounding (10.7 rpg) and is the only student-athlete who is averaging a double-double per game.
