CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference's (SUNYAC) weekly Men's Soccer Senior Spotlight is on Plattsburgh's Luke Rapaport.
The defender from Mohegan Lake, N.Y., Rapaport was named to the All-SUNYAC third team after playing 1,440 minutes over 18 matches in 2019. He was part of a defensive unit that recorded eight shutouts, including a streak of six consecutive clean sheets beginning with a 1-0 win at Brockport, and culminating with a 2-0 win at New Paltz. In addition, Rapaport recorded career highs in goals (2), assists (2) and points (6) in 2019. In his career, Rapaport has tallied two goals, two assists and six points in 3,143 minutes played over 37 matches (36 starts). In addition to his performance on the field, Rapaport is a three-time SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll honoree as a fitness and wellness leadership major.
