BUFFALO, N.Y. - Fredonia's Arron Carlson captured the 2017 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) title in the men's 1-meter dive on day one of the swimming and diving championships at the Burt Flickinger Aquatic Center in Buffalo.
The six-time SUNYAC Diver of the Week continued his success into the championships where he totaled 549.30 points to win the crown in the 1-meter dive.
Geneseo's Samuel Randall finished second with 513.45 points and Cortland's Lee Wade was third (500.55).
The championships continue Thursday with prelims starting at 10 a.m. and finals at 5:30 p.m. See the full schedule here.
