BUFFALO, N.Y. – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) crowned champions in seven individual events and four relay events on day two of the Swimming and Diving Championships, Thursday at the Burt Flickinger Aquatic Center in Buffalo. After 12 total events Geneseo leads both the men's and women's teams in points.
Record Breakers
Geneseo's men 200 yard freestyle relay team of Derek Secord, Matthew Modelewski, Scott Guyton and Jeff Doser touched the wall in 1:22.32 to break the SUNYAC championship meet records from 2013 (1:22.89).
Cooper Knapp from New Paltz set a new conference and meet records during his leg of the 400 yard medley relay swimming the 100 backstroke in 49.85.
