The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) had three national champions and 18 honored as All-America at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which ran May 25-27 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

Geneseo's Alexa Wandy won the national title in the triple jump after she posted the five best  jumps during Saturday's competition, including the second-longest effort in Division III history (13.00m - 42'8") on the final jump of the day. She also became the second Division III student-athlete to ever hit the 13-meter plateau and was the first since McMurray's Darcell Edwards set the Division III record (13.45m/44'2") in 2004. Wandy also finished second in the long jump.

Geneseo's women's team finished tied for fifth overall with 29 points.

Geneseo's Isaac Garcia-Cassani capped the year with his second national championship and his fourth All-America honor after clocking a 3:52.59 time to best the field in the 1,500. He also won the mile and added a leg to the national runner-up distance medley relay during the NCAA Indoor Championships while placing fourth during the NCAA Cross Country Championships in the fall. He will enter his final season in Blue and White a nine-time All-American in cross country and track & field.

Cortland's Jack Flood won the national title in the decathlon with 6,998 points. Flood also won the national title in the heptathlon during the indoor season. Flood is Cortland's first-ever decathlon national champ, and he's now a four-time All-American after finishing fourth in the decathlon and third in the heptathlon in 2016.  Cortland now has 105 individual national champions spanning all of its sports.

Cortland men's team finished tied for fifth overall with 24 points.
