Garcia-Cassani posted the fastest 1,500 in Division III this season in winning the event at the Bison Outdoor Classic, hosted by Bucknell. Competing in the invitational section against a field that included DI, DII, DIII and open runners, the 2017 indoor mile national champion set a SUNYAC record with a 3:44.72 clocking that ranks .22 behind the top-10 performances in DIII history. He also anchored the Knights' runner-up 4x800 relay that finished with a school-record 7:40.43 time.
