CORTLAND, N.Y. – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) selects Plattsburgh's Jazz Roberts (Albany, N.Y.) as its PrestoSports Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Roberts finished first out of 65 runners with a 6k time of 22:37.3 to help lead the Plattsburgh State women's cross country team at the Aldrich Invitational hosted by Middlebury College Saturday afternoon. Roberts averaged a 6:04 mile pace, edging the second-place runner by 6.2 seconds after overtaking her with 300 meters to go. This marks Roberts' third first-place finish in three races so far this season.
