2016 NCAA DIII Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships

LOUISVILLE, KY. –  The NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships took place Saturday at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville. Four State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) student-athletes finished in the top 35 to receive All-America honors.

On the women's side Geneseo's team finished third and Oneonta seventh. Oneonta's Rachael Shine finished the 6,000-meter course in 21:09.9 crossing the line 23rd out of 280 runners. Geneseo's Sara Rosenzweig was 28th (21:14.1). Mary Baughman finished in 72nd as Cortland's lone competitor as an individual qualifier (21:45.3).

Geneseo's men finished second overall, the highest in program history, with Isaac Garcia-Cassani leading the team crossing the line fourth out of 278 runners in the 8,000-meter course (24:18.0). Oneonta's team finished 22nd.
