Plattsburgh State sophomore forward Jonathan Patron averaged 24.7 points and 10 rebounds per game in a 2-1 week for the Cardinals. He shot 68.1 percent (32-of-47) from the floor for the week, including a 75.8 percent (25-of-33) clip against SUNYAC teams. After scoring 16 points in a 91-70 loss to No. 10 Middlebury College on Tuesday, Patron helped Plattsburgh State bounce back with a 34-point outing on 16-of-21 shooting in an 80-78 win over SUNY New Paltzon Friday, scoring what wound up being the game-winning basket with two seconds left in regulation. He also grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds against the Hawks. Finally, on Saturday, he drained 24 points in a 92-82 win over SUNY Oneonta. Patron currently sits just 182 points shy of 1,000 for his career after just his sophomore campaign.
