CORTLAND, N.Y. - Junior guard Terrance Nichols (New York Mills, N.Y.) earns the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week honor after his two performances this past weekend.

The Geneseo Knights fell to Buffalo State on Friday 81-73, however Nichols was still able to put up 23 points, five rebounds, and four assists. On Saturday, Nichols' clutch performance for Geneseo was able to propel the team over Brockport 77-76 in a thrilling last second victory. Terrance Nichols had 25 points including the game-tying three-pointer with 12 seconds to go and the game-winning free throw with one second left on the game clock. He went 9-19 from three over the weekend while shooting 53.3 percent overall.

Nichols and the Knights travel to Brockport this Tuesday (2/12). Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.
