The freshman netminder recorded a .953 save percentage with 81 saves on 85 shots on goal, a 2.00 goals against average and one shutout. On Friday evening, Cumberworth made a career-high 41 saves and a .911 save percentage to lead the Bengals to an upset victory over No. 2 Plattsburgh State. He followed that performance up with a perfect showing on Saturday in a 5-0 win over Potsdam, stopping all 40 shots he faced to record his first career shutout. The goalie also added his first career point with an assist for Buffalo State as well.
