Geneseo’s, James Chen has been selected as the 2012 SUNYAC Women’s Tennis Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season and third time overall. Chen led his team to an overall record of 9-1 and captured the SUNYAC Championship for the second year in a row.

Throughout Chen’s 11 seasons at Geneseo, he has posted an overall record of 112-29 with four Championships in the past five seasons. The Knights have captured the SUNYAC title six times overall (1998, 2001, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012).

Chen was honored as the SUNYAC Coach of the Year in 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, former Geneseo tennis coach Paul Duffy was recognized in 1998 and 2001.
