Cypress had a fantastic weekend at the Larry Ellis Invite in Princeton, running in the 200-meter and 400-meter dash, setting the current top marks in the SUNYAC. In the 200-meter dash, Cypress finished 12^th overall and third in Division III, posting a mark of 21.78 seconds. In the 400-meter dash, he finished 10^th overall and second in Division III, running the race in 48.56 seconds. Each mark was a career-best for the sophomore runner.
