Buffalo State senior Nina Schaefer (Lafayette, N.Y.) has been named SUNYAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week. The senior tallied 14 goals and 19 points in two games to become the 18th player in school history to reach 100 career points. Schaefer matched a school single-game record with 13 points on eight goals and five assists in Wednesday’s 23-7 victory over Fredonia. She then went on to tally six more goals in a 16-14 loss to Oneonta on Saturday.
