POTSDAM, N.Y.- The SUNY Potsdam softball team will be holding its annual Strike Out Cancer fundraiser on Friday, April 24 as the Bears host SUNY Cortland at 3 p.m. Sophomore outfielder Kelly Becker's (Mahopac, N.Y./Mahopac) mother Rhonda, who is battling the disease, will throw out the first pitch against the Red Dragons. The team will be selling t-shirts during the doubleheader and through Saturday's games against Oswego State as well. Potsdam will be wearing pink jerseys during Friday's contests. All the proceeds will be donated to Canton-Potsdam Hospital's Center for Cancer Care.
 
Potsdam is back in action today as the Bears take on SUNY Canton at 3:30 p.m. for a nonconference doubleheader.
