SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC selects Geneseo's Penelope Greene and Oneonta's Isabella Fabrizio as its first 2024 Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Greene helped Geneseo kick off their outdoor season on a high note as she took first overall in the 5000m at the Geneseo Early Season Invite. Greene took first with a time of 17:19.84, good enough for ninth fastest in the nation.

Senior Fabrizio won the hammer throw at the Hamilton College Invitational with a throw of 48.20 meters. She took second in the shot put at 12.88 meters and was seventh in the discus (30.95 meters).
