Fleming and Moran Tabbed SUNYAC Field Hockey Athletes of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. The SUNYAC names Oneonta's Morgan Fleming and New Paltz's Sam Moran the Field Hockey Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week repsectively.

Fleming recorded two goals and two assists for six points in SUNY Oneonta's 1-1 week. Down two goals to Oswego State, Fleming scored twice to tie the game then assisted on the game-winning goal for the 3-2 win over the Lakers. In their match at Stockton, she tallied one assist. Fleming currently leads the conference in points (35) and co-leads in goals scored (14).

Moran was apart of two wins for the Hawks who gave up just three goals in the two victories, while allowing just 10 shots against per game. Moran played a full 60 minutes in the 4-2 win over Hartwick and played every second of the 2-1 double overtime win and in the game came up with a defensive save which pushed her to first all-time in program history in the category.
