Plattsburgh Wins First-Ever SUNYAC Women's Basketball Title

The Plattsburgh State women's basketball team made history tonight on the court in Memorial Hall as they defeated Geneseo, 57-52, to win their first State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championship and earned the programs first berth to the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament.

Kathleen Payne led the Cardinals with 19 points and Shannon McGinnis added 14.
