Fitzgerald Repeats as SUNYAC Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has recognized New Paltz's Brianna Fitzgerald as the Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the second-straight week.

Fitzgerald helped the Hawks to two more wins this past weekend. She had a game-high 23 points in just 25 minutes on 10for-13 shooting in a record-setting 30-point victory over Geneseo, which gave coach Jamie Seward his 300th career win. She added team-high's in both rebounds (8) and steals (5) with the latter also a game-high in the win. In just 16 minutes against Brockport, she was two rebounds shy of a double-double, finishing with 10 points and eight rebounds five off the offensive glass with an assist and two steals.
