SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Cortland's Caden Yancey and Potsdam's Saka Thompson are the SUNYAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week respectively.

Yancey tallied 12 points on seven goals and five assists and added five ground balls and one caused turnover in a 2-0 week for Cortland. In a 15-7 win at St. John Fisher on Wednesday, Yancey recorded seven points on three goals and four assists with three ground balls. He then scored four goals and collected an assist and two ground balls in a 14-7 home victory versus Scranton on Saturday.

Thompson made a career-high 21 saves in a 13-3 victory at Utica University on Wednesday. The win was Potsdam's first of the season.
