SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Potsdam's Payton Walsh is the SUNYAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week while Cortland's Travis Wagner is the Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Walsh had 12 points on six goals and six assists in a 2-0 week for the Bears. He had two goals and four assists in a 19-6 win at Castleton on Tuesday. He then recorded four goals and two assists in a 19-4 win over Morrisville on Saturday. He now ranks fourth on Potsdam's all-time goals list and eighth on the scoring list.

In a pair of neutral-site games in Colorado last week, Wagner posted a 1-1 record with a 10.50 GAA, 39 saves and a .650 save percentage. In a 12-9 victory over Illinois Wesleyan on Wednesday, Wagner stopped a career-high 21 shots. He followed with 18 saves in a 12-10 setback versus Muhlenberg on Saturday. For the season, Wagner has posted a 3-2 record with a 9.29 GAA and a .620 save percentage.
