SYRACUSE, N.Y. – New Paltz sophomore Alexandra Kassian has been named the SUNYAC Women's Swimmer of the Week.

Kassian, who calls Kerhonkson, N.Y., home, helped the Hawks to a dual-meet victory over visiting Hartwick on Saturday, Jan. 28.

She won three individual events and helped her team to a relay victory as well, touching first in the 100 breaststroke (1:11.93), 200 breaststroke (2:36.62), 200 IM (2:21.98) and the 200 medley relay (1:55.25)
