SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Amaya DiGiovanni from Geneseo and Ashley Zachgo from Cortland were named the first 2022-23 SUNYAC Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week respectively.
DiGiovanni helped lead the Knights to a 165-77 victory over Cortland by placing first in three events. She touched the wall first in the 200-yard medley relay (1:50.56), the 50-yard freestyle (25.84), and the 100-yard freestyle (56.31).\
Zachgo won both diving events during Cortland's season-opening dual meet versus visiting Geneseo. She captured the 1-meter title with a score of 249.35 points and the 3-meter victory with 250.75 points.
