SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has chosen Lauren Sposili from Geneseo as this week's Women's Swimmer of the Week and Caroline Rossi from Brockport has been named the Diver of the Week.
Sposili helped lead Geneseo to a dominant 170.5 - 127.5 victory over Division I foe Canisius on Saturday. Sposili set a pool record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.14. She also helped win the 200 yard medley relay (1:49.19) and finished second in the 200 yard breaststroke (2:23.73) and the 200 yard IM (2:14.69)
Rossi placed third in both the 1-meter dive (173.64) and the 3-meter dive (156.90) for the Golden Eagles last week against Nazareth.
