The Knights, who are the SUNYAC defending champions, defeated #3 Fredonia, 71-41, in the first semifinal Friday night led by Allison McKenna who scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds [Box Score]. The second-seeded Cortland men's basketball team will play the defending SUNYAC champions, Oswego, Saturday in Plattsburgh. The Red Dragons outlasted #3 Brockport, 80-78, in the first semifinal game Friday night led by Blair Estarfaa's 19 point performance [Box Score]. In conjunction with the NCAA Division III 35-year celebration of women's basketball, the SUNYAC recognized former women's basketball all-conference, player of the year, rookie of the year and coach of the year award winners who were present at the SUNYAC Women's Basketball Championships Friday night.
